It took a while, busy months with a lot of fieldwork, photography and writing for my book … publishing a new blog can be delayed in these circumstances. But I have a good reason to publish one now. I have written an article in the August-issue of the german nature photography magazine Naturfoto about my trip to Minnesota in 2010 (see the blog of October 2010). I attended a workshop with Jim Brandenburg and spent a week in the wilderness in a canoe. This trip was one of the most special events in my life. I write about the landscape, the encounters with animals (wolves!), my relation with nature and about wilderness as a source of inspiration. I have begun to realize how important the wilderness is as a place for getting connected to our roots, to think about the source of life and as a source of inspiration for a sound way of living with our planet. The magazine is available in the better magazine-stores (at least here in Wageningen at the Bruna).
